Hi, no I'm sorry that is not a service that we offer. We have looked into this for you but have been unable to determine if anyone is providng this service at the moent. Maybe your GP practice can advise who you can contact.
- I look after my son who is 28 years old and has Cerebral Palsy his day centre is closed due to the Covid would I be eligible for a grant

Thanks for getting in touch.
Unfortunately our short break grant scheme for carers of adults closed recently with all funds allocated. This will reopen again in October unless we receive any additional funding before then when it would open sooner.
In the meantime, I wonder if you would like to register with our service so that you receive any information we are sending out such as our quarterly newsletter. You can do this from our website at www.shetlandcarers.org at the blue sign up section near the bottom. VAS Carers want to support you to manage your caring role and have a lofe alongside caring.
