An opportunity to see and hear Sally Magnusson's experiences as a carer to her mother who lived with dementia. http://www.writerstories.tv/2014/sally.magnusson-where-memories-go/

Please contact Ann or Laura on 01595 720347 if you have any concerns or queries, voicemail available.

The following groups are all run by Alzheimer Scotland Shetland branch. You will find Ann or Laura at the Dementia Resource Centre, 66 Burgh Road, Lerwick. They run a number of different groups that target people with dementia and their carers.

The groups are for people who are able to attend safely on their own or who are accompanied by someone to support them-there is no provision of direct support for people with dementia at our groups. Please note, where we do not provide transport ,it is your reponsibility to get to and from this community activity. Our risk assessment processes endorse this statement.

All our venues have easy access. We advertise a list of events in the Shetland Times and on Shetland News website.
