Ferry vouchers are becoming digital – feedback invited

Researchers from Transport Scotland are looking for volunteers to check the plans for how you will get ferry vouchers when they change to a digital format.

This relates to the National Concessionary Travel Scheme and the vouchers used on NorthLink ferries from Shetland to Aberdeen.

If you get the ferry vouchers or support someone who does, can you offer a bit of time to speak with the researchers? They will let you see what will change and you can give feedback.

The researchers spoke with some people earlier in the year and are now checking a few further things, so if you took part then you can take part again if you wish.

When and when

  • Between Tuesday 22 and Friday 25 August – day and time will be arranged with each person
  • It will take 30 minutes to 1 hour (or less time, if you can’t spare 30 mins)
  • Islesburgh Centre in Lerwick (or other location if that doesn’t suit)

It will hopefully be interesting. For smartphone users, there will be an app available to test out.
