COVID-19 Guided Self-help booklets for people with learning/intellectual disabilities

A team of UK-wide researchers, led by the University of Glasgow, have created a set of guided self-help booklets to support people with mild to moderate learning/intellectual disabilities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The booklets cover key aspects of life in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic, covering topics such as ‘Feeling Down’, ‘A Goodnight’s Sleep’ and ‘Being Active and Keeping Better’.

They are designed to be used by people with learning/intellectual disabilities with the support of family members, friends, volunteers and carers and are also suitable for use by social work and health professionals.

The booklets are free to download, however printed copies of the resources are only available to those living in Scotland. You can find out more about the booklets, including how to order them here: https://www.scld.org.uk/update-to-the-covid-19-guided-self-help-booklets/
