The Carers Week Report was launched last week. The report is based on polling carried out by YouGov in May 2020 of 4557 people over the age of 18 living in the UK. The report highlighted that there are now an estimated 1 million unpaid carers in Scotland, with around 392,000 people having taken on a caring role during the COVID-19 pandemic.
