'Getting Carers Connected' is the theme for Carers Week 2019 - the UK's annual drive to raise awareness of caring. For Carers Week this year we are planning various events in Shetland to celebrate the contribution carers make and to award carers opportunity to come and find out about help that could be available to them.

During Carers Week we will be out and about in the community doing Outreach work at the 10 health centres across Shetland. If you are looking after someone and and need access to support, info and advice why not pop along and chat with one of our support workers. For dates please click here

Our drop in events at Market House on 19th June will enable carers to come along and find out about the support available to them locally to help them in their caring role. Carers can also sign up to receive a bit of time out and enjoy an Indian Head Massage by Rozalyn from Sleeping Beauty. For more info click here
