Drop in anytime between 1pm and 3pm on Tues 6th Oct 2026 for tea and tabnabs, and a chance to have a chat with other carers.

It’s relaxed, there’s no formal agenda – just a chance to come along, have tea & tabnabs, meet other carers, have a yarn and enjoy some company. You can stay for as little or as long as you like.

Shetland Care Attendant Scheme (SCAS) staff will also be on hand if you have any questions about your caring role or if there’s anything you’d like to chat to us about.

And did we say… we’re a friendly bunch? Whether you’ve been caring for years or are new to caring we'd love to see you there!

Need to bring the person you care for?
If the person you care for can’t be left alone and you’d otherwise be unable to come along, you’re welcome to bring them with you. We’d much rather you were able to join us than miss out because you couldn’t leave them at home.

When you arrive at Market House, just let reception know you’re here for Tea & Tabnabs and they’ll let you through.
