As part of our series of events to mark National Carers Week 2022, Shetland Carers is excited to present a creative day out, featuring a photography workshop with local portrait photographer May Graham, a free lunch at Bonhoga, and a private viewing of the Kergord Hatchery Bookshop. After assembling at Market House at 0930 on Thursday 9th June, attendees will be whisked away to either a studio or outdoor location (weather dependent) courtesy of GoShetland Tours, where May Graham will provide an introduction to portraiture. For this reason, please wear suitable shoes for being on a hillside etc - doesn’t have to be boots, just something with a bit of a sole - and bring with you a device that takes photos (formerly called a camera!). After the workshop, there will be a lovely lunch at Bonhoga at around 1230, followed by a viewing of the Hatchery Bookshop between 1330 and 1430. We will aim to arrive back to Market House at 3pm, though please allow some extra time in your schedule to be on the safe side.
